Gateway announces MP3 player which shows off digital photos

Computer manufacturer Gateway came out the MP3 player chute today with the announcement of their Gateway MP3 Photo Jukebox. This mini player (weight 3.4 ounces), priced at $249.99 and shipping in November, offers up 4GB of storage and a 1.6" color LCD display for music playback and digital photo display. Digital photos can be transferred directly to the Gateway player from a digital camera via a USB 2.0 cable.

Battery time, according to Gateway, is eight hours. Supported audio/photo formats include MP3, WMA, JPEG, BMP and AAC. The player is also one of the first to support Microsoft's PlaysForSure program.
