
Epson shows off new multimedia viewer
Seiko Epson, known for being innovative in LCD technology, unveiled last week they are rolling out a portable video player of sorts in the form of the P-2000 Multimedia Storage Viewer. Priced at $499 and available in November, the P-2000 sports a 3.8" VGA LCD and allows users to "view, store and playback photos, videos and music." It sports a 40GB hard drive, allows for the creation of a photo multimedia slideshow and has two built-in slots for CF and SD memory cards for direct storage and transfer to the P-2000.
